You may use the Platform only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, overload, impair or interfere with the Platform, its security, its operation or another user’s access to it.
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, another user’s account, or any systems or networks connected to the Platform;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful or disruptive code;
- use automated systems, bots, scraping tools or similar technologies to extract, copy or collect content or data from the Platform without our prior written permission;

Where appropriate, we will take reasonable steps to notify you of a suspension or termination and the reason for it. However, we may act without prior notice where this is reasonably necessary to protect users, the Platform, our systems or third parties, or where required by law.
Nothing in this section affects any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer law.
Service Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available and operating reliably, but we do not guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.
From time to time, access to some or all of the Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, security requirements, third-party service failures or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may also update, modify, replace or discontinue individual features as the Platform develops. Where a change is likely to materially reduce the core functionality available to existing subscribers, we will aim to provide reasonable notice where practicable.
We will take reasonable steps to restore access following any disruption and to maintain the security and functionality of the Platform.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
Playbook Library and Quest Content & Play Ideas
The Platform provides play ideas, activities and related content designed to help parents and carers spend creative, screen-free time with children.
While we aim to provide content that is appropriate, practical and enjoyable, every child and situation is different. You are responsible for deciding whether a particular activity is suitable for your child, taking into account factors such as their age, abilities, interests, environment and any relevant safety considerations.
Children should be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult when taking part in activities suggested through the Platform. You should use your own judgement at all times and adapt or stop an activity if you believe it is unsafe, unsuitable or inappropriate in the circumstances.
Some activities may involve everyday household items, physical movement, outdoor play or other materials and environments that carry inherent risks. You are responsible for ensuring that any equipment, materials and locations used are safe and appropriate before beginning an activity.
The content provided through the Platform is intended for general recreational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to constitute medical, health, educational, developmental or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified professional.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Second Star Play Ltd will not be responsible for loss or damage arising from the use of the Platform where that loss or damage was not reasonably foreseeable or was caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
AI Generated Content
Some features of the Platform use artificial intelligence to generate personalised play ideas, suggestions or other content based on information you provide.
AI-generated content is created automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, appropriate or suitable for every child or situation. It may also occasionally produce unexpected, incorrect or unsuitable suggestions.
You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before using it and for deciding whether it is appropriate for your child, taking into account their age, abilities, interests, environment and any relevant safety considerations.
AI-generated content should not be treated as medical, health, educational, developmental or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified professional.
Children should be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult when taking part in any activity generated through the Platform. You should use your own judgement at all times and adapt, disregard or stop any suggested activity if you believe it is unsafe, unsuitable or inappropriate in the circumstances.
You should not enter sensitive personal information into AI-powered features. Any information submitted through the Platform will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update, modify, restrict or withdraw AI-powered features from time to time as the Platform develops.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
Beta Testing
Participation in the Founding Members product Beta testing includes a commitment to provide reasonable feedback about your experience. Participants will be invited to complete an onboarding questionnaire, periodic short feedback surveys and a final questionnaire.
Completion of the stated feedback activities is required to qualify for ongoing Founding Member rewards, including any available post-launch discount, complimentary membership period or other completion incentive. Any available rewards:
- are non-transferable;
- have no cash value;
- are subject to stated eligibility criteria.
Failure to complete these activities will not affect access already paid for during the current billing period, but may result in the loss of ongoing rewards or eligibility for future testing phases.
We may remove a participant from the product beta where they repeatedly fail to participate, misuse the service or materially breach these terms. Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice.
Subscriptions & Billing
Full access to the Platform’s features including the OKLP Playbook, requires an active subscription. We offer the following plans:
Founding Members Monthly: £2.99 per month, available only during the Pre-Launch/Beta Period.
Standard Monthly (not yet live): £4.99 per month.
Standard Annual (not yet live): £49.90 per year.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period.
During the Beta Period, eligible users may subscribe at the reduced Founding Members Monthly rate of £2.99 per month.
When the Beta Period ends, the Founding members monthly plan will be withdrawn. Subscribers on a Founding members subscription will retain the right to remain on this subscription with no price increases guaranteed for a period of no less than 12 calendar months after the end of the Beta period. Beta subscribers will not automatically be moved to a higher-priced subscription without prior notice.
If a user cancels their founding member subscription during this time, they will lose their eligibility to access this subscription type.
Depending on the options available at that time, you may choose to move to the Standard Monthly subscription, cancel your subscription, or, where eligible, redeem or purchase a rewards-based annual membership.
We may change our subscription prices from time to time. If a price change affects your existing subscription, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before the change takes effect. You may cancel your subscription before the new price applies.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and you will continue to have access to the full Platform content until that date.
Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings page. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and you will continue to have access to the OKLP Subscriber features until that date. Your subscription will not renew after cancellation.
Except where required by law, we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods.
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation or refund rights under applicable UK consumer law. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
Where you purchase a subscription online and request immediate access to digital content or services, we may ask you to expressly consent to access beginning during the applicable statutory cancellation period and to acknowledge that, where permitted by law, this may result in the loss of your right to cancel once supply of the relevant digital content has begun.
Where a refund is required by law, we will provide it in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. Any other refund provided by us will be at the discretion of Second Star Play Ltd. Please contact us at hello@okletsplay.uk to discuss your situation.
Promotional or Complimentary Access
From time to time, we may provide certain users with temporary or complimentary access to some or all of the Platform’s paid features without requiring an active paid subscription.
Any such access is provided at our discretion, may be subject to additional conditions or a specified time limit, and does not create any entitlement to continued free access.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, we may modify, restrict or withdraw complimentary or promotional access at any time. If free access ends, you may need to purchase an eligible subscription to continue accessing paid features of the Platform.
Ending complimentary or promotional access will not affect any statutory rights you may have.
Intellectual Property
The service and its original content, including all play ideas, text, graphics, logos, and the compilation thereof, are and will remain the exclusive property of Second Star Play Ltd. Our content or images thereof may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Second Star Play Ltd.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform and its content for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the service without express written permission from us.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
The Platform is provided for personal and non-commercial use. We are therefore not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings or business opportunity arising from your use of the Platform.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our services, legal or regulatory requirements, security needs, or the way we operate our business.
Where a change is minor or does not materially affect your rights, we may update the Terms without giving advance notice.
If we make a material change that affects existing subscribers, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect, normally by email or through a notice on the Platform.
If you do not agree with a material change, you may stop using the Platform and, where applicable, cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
The version of the Terms in force at the time will be available on the Platform and will state the date on which it was last updated.
Nothing in this section allows us to change these Terms in a way that would remove or limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, or your use of the Platform, will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident outside England and Wales, you will also retain the benefit of any mandatory rights and protections provided to you by the laws of the country or territory in which you normally reside, where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where permitted by law, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform. However, if you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the country or territory in which you live.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
